1935-1945 Received primary and secondary education at the Gyzil Shafag and Ilmazli secondary schools in the Kalinino district of the Armenian SSR

from 1970 onwards Afad Gurbanov received many awards (certificate of honor, medal, order) from the head of the country, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet, the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences (1981, 1994, 1999) and the Ministry of Education (1970, 1971, 1973, 1979, 1980) for his services to the development of Azerbaijani science and the training of highly qualified scientific and pedagogical professionals.

 

Professor Gurbanov’s works have been published in many Asian and European countries. His books have found a place in the popular Imam Rza scientific library in the city of Mashhad in Iran His books are available in libraries in the USA, Turkey, Germany, Hungary, Greece, Finland, Russia and other countries. These books are the successful result of the author’s long-term strenuous scientific research.
